Sometimes, regardless of party affiliation, if elected officials are endangering the country, then they need to called out on their BS.

Seriously, WTF is with making America unsafe and laughable...enough! Many (not all) current cabinet appointees and elected officials don’t seem to grasp the nuances of foreign policy and diplomacy at home and abroad. Just look at the riots in Germany upon the arrival of the President for the G20 Summit.

And it’s not just him making us look bad but it’s Congresses inability or lack of desire to reign him in and speak out against his childish behavior. The Mika tweets, c’mon! Ok, fine, many elected officials of both parties spoke out against the Mika tweets, but it’s just hypocrisy. They’ll still party at the Whitehouse if invited and support Trump’s agenda.

The Senate isn’t much better, placing party politics before our country, creating laughable legislation like the healthcare re-write known as the BCRA.  The bill pretty much screws anyone not rich. Both major parties have a role to play. Most (not all) Republicans are appearing self-serving and out of touch. Most (not all) Democrats are showing an inability or lack of desire to successfully work toward resolving the situation. Their strategy seems to be that of – just wait for Trump to “self-impeach”. Yeah, thanks for that profound nugget of wisdom Nancy Pelosi. That’s a real solution to address concerns.

Let’s not even get started on all the foreign leaders who are not allies who think our current government leadership is laughable. Their strategy is to push, push, push and taunt, taunt, taunt. North Korea is no joke. ISIS is still an issue. Sure, tweeting that our allies let us down and should solve all our problems for us is such an effective foreign policy strategy. China probably can’t wait to thank us. Alienating allies, way to go.

These actions – and inactions –  are dangerous. They are dangerous to our country. They are dangerous to every single American regardless of political party affiliation, background or income status.

C’mon America, we really are better than this. When will our elected officials wake up – or at least decide to genuinely give a shit!
